The Devoko is the only box here with published inside dimensions. Anything up to about 52 in long lies flat corner to corner on its floor; anything longer stands on end or stays in the garage.
Cords, timers and damp
The box keeps rain off; it does not make the gear inside waterproof. Coil cords dry, bag timers and power stakes in zip bags, and set the box on pavers rather than bare soil. The FEFLO is the only box with a published ingress rating, IP65, which makes it the choice in a wet climate. The YITAHOME is sold as weather resistant rather than waterproof — fine for cushions, not the box for electrical gear. The moisture rules are on damp and pest protection.
Lid and lock
The Keter and the FEFLO both have hydraulic lids, which stay open while both hands dig for the right cord. The Keter’s latch takes a lock and the FEFLO has hasps for your own padlock. A lock matters most for a box by a street-side outlet, full of timers and cords that are easy to walk off with. The PatioZen publishes a 550 lb load, so it doubles as a bench by the door.
Two seasons in one box
The same box holds the Halloween stakes and cords in October and the Christmas set in December. If both collections are big, the 150 gal Keter holds both at once; if you only need to plan around one, the Devoko’s published inside dimensions let you check the fit first.
