Why waterproof matters on a porch
A covered porch still gets wet. Rain blows in sideways under the roof, and dew settles on anything left out overnight. Three sets here are sold as waterproof — the RABUSOFA, the buffalo plaid and the Jarrtinle — and those are the ones for a porch that faces the weather. The neutral set is sold as spill resistant, which is fine under a deep roof.
Waterproof covers keep rain off the fabric, not out through the zipper. Pair them with outdoor inserts, which dry quickly, and bring the pillows in before a storm.
How many pillows a bench holds
The arithmetic

Why the black cat covers are the skip
The black cat covers are fine on a sofa: a linen blend with an invisible zipper and a design that bridges Halloween and fall. On a porch, two things count against them. The listing does not sell them for outdoor use, and the print is single-sided, so the plain back shows every time a pillow turns over. The RABUSOFA set does the same job waterproof, also in fours.
