Under a black light, anything fluorescent glows and everything else goes dark. That makes it the most dramatic light in a Halloween yard: glow-painted tombstones and neon tape jump out, and the yard around them disappears.

Two fixtures beat one big one
A single flood lights a display from one side and throws a hard shadow behind everything. Two floods from two angles, even at lower wattage each, fill those shadows in, and the display looks lit rather than spotlit. Aim close, not far

What glows
Black light only helps things that fluoresce. Why HouLight is the skip
