It is genuinely the right answer for a path edge with no outlet, and no maker publishes run time per charge — which in late October, with short days and low sun, is exactly the figure you would want. Buy solar for placement freedom, not for reliable brightness at nine in the evening.
On a corded outdoor decoration, check the cord
One of the picks here publishes an ETL-certified waterproof cord with two safety fuses, and it is worth noticing because almost nothing in seasonal decorating publishes anything about its cord at all. On a lit object that sits outdoors on a wet step for two months, that is a more meaningful specification than the styling.

Storage: this is where collapsible wins
